Our little yard is finally coming along.
We had a fence put in (after 4 1/2 years of wanting one) so now the little one can run around in peace (and I can garden without anyone spying on me).
In a few months we'll have to stain it.
We also had a friend rototill our garden area so now it's 27'x17'. I already planted some spinach and lettuce in the mounded areas. Next are onions, potatoes, and carrots. Don't laugh at the boards. They're so I can walk around the garden without compressing the soil.
The boards are brilliant! Congrats on the fence - all the yards here are fenced in and sometimes I miss the unfenced yards of the midwest. Then I remember random dogs in our yard, and how I would get in to mischeif as a child :)
ReplyDeleteIt must feel so nice to have your fence finally...I can't wait until we have a house with a fence so my boys can play. Your yard looks super cute :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like the boards! Since they're not permanently in the ground, I can change the garden design around as much as I want. Thanks for the compliments. The yard has been a LONG time coming.
ReplyDeleteNice yard/garden. We just finished planting our garden (I should really say my husband did). Can't wait for the fresh veggies! BTW, I awarded you The Versatile Blogger Award. Check it out on my blog. Have a great week!
